Hotels in Las Vegas Upgrading Rooms for Free |

I have a friend who made his way up to Las Vegas this past weekend to stay in the Flamingo Hotel. After arriving late at night on Friday, the front desk told him they had upgraded his room to a suite for free. That meant a near top floor room with direct views of the Las Vegas casinos along with two bathrooms and multiple flat screens. He said that he didn’t do anything special other then booking early. This got me thinking about the marketing tactics of hotels in Las Vegas.
I have a feeling since he was staying in the Flamingo Hotel (old town Vegas) on a weekend that did not have any major events other then sports betting on the NBA playoffs that they hooked him up for booking early. Since he arrived later at night there were probably many open suites which the front desk were giving to those that arrived late but booked early in a lesser value room. That way those who book early see the benefits and the others who showed up later were given the smaller rooms. This is a great strategy and another reason to book stay at hotels in Las Vegas early. Hotels in Vegas are always offering deals if you know where to look.
